In our weekly roundup of the looks that are gaining fashion ground (and the ones losing their style street cred), we noticed a rise in floral prints, one surprising color stars are loving for fall and the beginning of the end for white pumps. (Yes, we think the shoe trend is actually tapering off!).

Up: Floral prints. If you are someone who follows that “No White After Labor Day” rule, you probably also follow: “No Florals After Labor Day.” But despite the changing seasons, Hollywood is still in full bloom. Lauren Conrad selected a garden-party-appropriate design for the launch of her BlueAvocado line in Beverly Hills. Taylor Swift went for a romantic look in a rose-printed Reem Acra dress at the Hollywood premiere of Romeo & Juliet. And it looked like a jungle of tropical blooms was growing on Sarah Hyland’s Ted Baker London number at the Voice Awards in Hollywood.

Up: Pale pink. Navy. Burgundy. Forest green. Those are the colors we usually associate with fall. But this year, stars are choosing a softer palette. First, we saw this this blush hue all over the carpet at the Emmys, with January Jones leading the pack in her custom lace Givenchy gown. Then we spotted the color on the street! Both Kim Kardashian and Eva Mendes stepped out in similar pink toppers, paired with coordinating light shades. (And as the expert trendspotters probably already noticed, Mendes combined two rising styles, pairing her pink coat with a floral New York & Company dress!).

Down: White pumps. Yes, some stars are still holding on to this popular summer shoe trend (Hi, Kelly Osbourne!). But overall, celebs are switching things up in the footwear department. Sandra Bullock paired her mixed-print Antonio Berardi dress with purple pumps for her hand and footprint ceremony in Hollywood. Plus, our Celeb Style Council member Nikki Reed made her black separates look instantly fresher with hot-pink heels at the Emily & Meritt for PBteen party in West Hollywood.
