Everyone knows you have to crack a few eggs to make an omelette – especially Liam Hemsworth.
The actor – who recently split from fiancée Miley Cyrus – took a break from filming the final installment of The Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay, in Atlanta on Friday to dine at Buckhead Diner.
Wearing a gray henley shirt and New York Yankees baseball cap, Hemsworth and a male friend arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 a.m. Both opted for customized omelettes, with Hemsworth adding chicken, mushrooms and avocado to his.
"He was pleasant enough to have his photo taken with his server and the restaurant manager," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Hemsworth reprises his role as Gale Hawthorne in Catching Fire which opens in theaters Nov. 22.
