Police and emergency workers rushed to Los Angeles International Airport Friday morning following reports of shots being fired.

The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Terminal 3, airport spokeswoman Nancy Suey Castles tells CNN.

"I heard a popping sound and everybody was diving for cover," passenger Robert Perez told KCAL/CBS. "The TSA said there was a shooting in the terminal and evacuate the building. Everybody started to panic."

The Los Angeles Times reports that a TSA agent was shot and the alleged gunman was wounded, and that the FAA has grounded all flights.

Bachelor host Chris Harrison was among the passengers live-Tweeting from LAX. "TSA just shut the doors in lockdown. Shooting over at Terminal 3," he wrote.

Meanwhile Tory Belleci, host of Blow It Up, who was also at the airport, Tweeted photos of the chaos along with the comment, "Holy S––!!! How the hell did guns get [past] security?"
