Now this dress has a lot going on! From the cone bra detailing to a slew of embellishments and a poofy skirt, the star made quite the statement on the red carpet. Was her mini dress totally fierce or a major fashion flop? VOTE!


Angela Simmons stole the spotlight at the 2013 BET Awards in LA at the Nokia Theatre on June 30 when she walked the P&G red carpet — but unfortunately it was for all the wrong reasons! She opted for a white mini dress with very interesting details around her chest that made it look as if she was wearing a cone bra. Although the neckline of the frock was high, all of the attention went straight to her bust!

While the material around the chest was the focal point of the frock, it only got even more busy as our eyes trailed down the ensemble. The sleeveless embellished dress featured a structured skirt and lots of tulle that poofed out and hit the star mid-thigh. Luckily Angela knew to tone down the rest of her ensemble, opting for minimal jewelry, (save for a pair of hoop earrings), and nude peep toe pumps with criss-cross straps. Hoop earrings and sleek, straight locks finished off her get-up.


While we commend the star for making a major fashion statement and taking a risk, unfortunately it resulted in quite a miss in my book. Do you agree? What did you think of Angela’s dress? Was her mini seriously sexy or way too weird? VOTE!
