She's "kind of a combo," Jenner 57, told PEOPLE at the Belvedere Vodka-hosted launch of Genlux Magazine's Summer issue in Beverly Hills Friday.
The newest Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made her debut on June 15 – about three weeks before her early July due date – and Jenner says she's just now getting acquainted with the world.
"She's just great, but she's only a little over a week old, so she's getting adjusted," Jenner told PEOPLE when asked whether she's had time to bond with her newest grandchild.
The Kardashian matriarch also gushed, "She's great! She's beautiful, and amazing, happy and healthy."
Jenner already defended the newborn's much-maligned moniker on The View Tuesday – explaining that Kim and Kanye chose the name because "North means highest power and she says that North is their highest point together" – and she reaffirmed her pro-North stance to PEOPLE on Friday.
"Isn't the cool?" she said of the meaning behind the name.
Yet she isn't quite sure what kind of nickname will stick for the newborn.
"It's a little early for me to predict, because we're just getting used to her," she says. "We're just getting used to each other, so we'll see what happens."
