John's Prediction: Jennifer Lawrence's award show glory will continue with a Globe for her supporting role in American Hustle. This win over Julia Roberts is a sign of the 23-year-old's biggest year yet. In 2014, Lawrence will cement her spot as America's newest cinematic sweetheart.
2. Breaking Bad Baby

John's Prediction: Breaking Bad is a definite winner for TV drama, but there's more. John sees a baby announcement on the way for star Aaron Paul and his wife Lauren Parsekian in the year ahead.

John's Prediction: Scandal's Kerry Washington will wow viewers and be the talk of the morning news shows with her Globes dress. 12 Years a Slave's breakout star Lupita Nyong'o will stand out in an eccentric and bold ensemble, but the look probably won't be a favorite. Fans should also watch out for a wardrobe malfunction befalling one of Hollywood's leading ladies.
4. Sandra's Shining Year

John's Prediction: A win for Gravity isn't certain, but Sandra Bullock is set to have a fulfilling year. Bullock will gain greater confidence and even more professional success in 2014. Plus, a new relationship is on the horizon.
5. Wolf of Wall Street Relationships

John's Prediction: There won't be a win for Leonardo DiCaprio this year, but there are personal changes ahead. The star will breakup with his current model fling, Toni Garrn, and seriously commit to his next 2014 girlfriend. Matthew McConaughey's personal relationship is evolving as well. Look for the Dallas Buyers Club star and wife Camila Alves to drift apart romantically but stay good friends.
6. Globe Number 9

John's Prediction: Meryl Streep will walk away with a ninth Golden Globe for her performance in August: Osage County thanks to the supportive team surrounding her. Amy Adams's loss in the same category is the start to a slower year for the actress.
7. Tina and Amy Strike Again

John's Prediction: Dynamic duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will have another successful show as cohosts and will avoid controversial topics during their skits.
8. Presenter Problems

John's Prediction: Fey and Poehler may deliver, but there will be negativity surrounding Reese Witherspoon's presenter appearance. Expect more controversy from a male award winner, who will make a comment regarding gun control in his acceptance speech.
