When we saw these photos of Kelly Osbourne doing graffiti with Justin Bieber, our first thought was, “Oh, how nice.” But upon taking a closer look, we had a more dramatic reaction. Could it be possible that the E! host cut her hair and we’re just noticing now?
At PEOPLE.com, we pride ourselves on our tremendous haircut-spotting abilities, but we must have been in a post-Christmas cookie stupor, because she sneaked this chic new look under our finely-tuned radar right before the new year began. It all started with a shot of someone’s long lavender locks hitting the ground …
Then another of Osbourne’s mother’s dog trying on a new look herself…
And finally, the finished product, courtesy of her stylist (of 29 years, apparently) Lino Carbosiero. She shared the photo above, and gave another look at it in the photo below.
The star has had long lavender waves for ages now, which she often tossed into a topknot, so this sleek, curled-under new bob will definitely be a major departure for the star. But any girl who has gone through a breakup can relate to the desire to cut off all your hair for a fresh start — it’s just that Osbourne gets to do it with the help of a whole red carpet team to make sure it’s the most glam fresh start possible.
