Golden Globes 2014: Elisabeth Moss Flips the Bird on Camera on the Red Carpet

Watch the birdie, Elisabeth Moss!

The Mad Men actress showed off her raucous side Sunday night on the Golden Globes red carpet when she shocked viewers by flipping the bird while showing off her snazzy manicure on camera.

So how, exactly, did it all go down?

Moss, 31, stepped up to chat with E! News's Giuliana Rancic, who, after quizzing the actress on her gown (J. Mendel), proceeded to prod Moss to show off her snazzy nails on the show's "manicam."

"I did this last time," Moss said, cryptically adding: "There's something I wanted to do last time but I'm not gonna do it."

"Do it, this is E! Do it! We're in 160 countries," Rancic urged Moss.

And, well, she did it. Moss then flipped her middle finger as a scandalized Rancic tried to stop Moss.

"See, you said to do it!" Moss quipped, before offering: "Want me to do it again?"

After Rancic gave the go-ahead, Moss – who is up for best actress in a miniseries or TV movie for her performance in Top of the Lake – then went on to deliver an encore.

"You said to do whatever I wanted," Moss exclaimed. "Spice it up a little!"

Mission accomplished.
