"Anna once told me that if I moved her into a trailer, she would still be happy," Pratt tells PEOPLE. "And I said, 'Well, honey, there's a good chance I'm going to do that, so ... ' "
The comedic couple stuck close together at last weekend's premiere of The Lego Movie, in which Pratt plays a Lego construction worker who teams up superheroes to save the toy world from evil. Faris and Pratt both maintain a busy workload of TV shows and Hollywood films, but the Mom actress says staying grounded keeps their marriage strong.
"A home-cooked meal, tinkering around our home, [sitting] around with the fireplace and a glass of wine," Faris, 37, says of their quiet routine. "We really value our private time. Also, we have kind of boring lives."
Pratt, 34, continues: "Trying to remind each other to keep perspective and know that this is mostly temporary."
And if their fame does fade away, Pratt says he, Faris and their 17-month-old son Jack are "prepared" to buy that trailer in their home state of Washington.
"We grew up 20 minutes away from each other north of Seattle in the country suburbs area," Faris explains. "It's the simple things for us."
