We love trolling Instagram for manicure ideas before we hit the nail salon. But the last person we’d expect to get nail inspiration from is Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion if you prefer). Then again, we shouldn’t be surprised by anything the rapper does — up to and including his new black-and-white French tips.
Sister duo Donne and Ginny Geer, the owners of the salon Hey, Nice Nails! in Long Beach, Calif., shared two pics on their Insta account of Snoop’s freshly-painted tips. Apparently, he has the nail geniuses on speed dial for those times when, you know, he wants to show his hands some TLC. That’s right, the Geers take their show on the road for their most unlikely client!

“House calls with Snoop are the best! #nailsformales #malenails #nailart #heynicenails #snoopdogg #longbeach #lbc” they captioned the above photo of the rapper showing off his tricked-out fingers They also revealed that Snoop usually goes for the same color combo, captioning the below photo, “More black and white nails for @snoopdogg!”
He also went for some subtle nail art, a silver dollar sign on his pinky, and what looks like a pot leaf on his thumb. And we have so many thoughts, like, How often does he get a man mani? Why aren’t our nails that beautifully shaped? What kind of hand moisturizer does he use? Where did he get that spider ring? While we keep asking the tough questions, but tell us: What do you think of his nail look?
