Yes, Rihanna lives a very luxe lifestyle, but she still manages to shock us with her crazy style splurges. And we think she might have just broken her own personal spending record with a pair of knee socks — you read that right, knee socks — we spotted on her Instagram.
RiRi loves a good Insta photoshoot, and in one of her latest she’s sporting thigh-high black-and-white polka dot socks that look exactly like this Azzedine Alaïa pair. Knowing the singer’s relationship with designers — and love for anything high-fashion — we thinks it’s a pretty safe bet that they are, in fact, Alaïa. She styled the footwear with some gray high-waisted bloomers (naturally) and a baseball tee.

But we shouldn’t be surprised: This is the same girl who rocked this Swarovski-encrusted bikini, which cost nearly a grand. Plus, maybe they were a birthday gift. Regardless, leave it up to Rihanna to have the most expensive sock collection on the planet.
