As Robin Thicke and Paula Patton adjust to their new separate lives after announcing their split on Monday, the former couple continue to focus on their careers.
"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me," he wrote on his website. "I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
Patton landed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where she will be presenting at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday night. She has also been hard at work shooting her latest film Warcraft.
Meanwhile, Thicke, who postponed a few concert dates after announcing their split, will resume his tour on Thursday night with stops in Washington, D.C., and Connecticut. He's also scheduled to play the Borgata in Atlantic City, N.J., on Sunday night.

An insider told PEOPLE the ex-couple's careers may have been a factor in their split, but that they remain amicable and will continue to be friends.
