The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills traveled to Puerto Rico on Monday's episode, but even the turquoise waters couldn't wash away the stink that was created when Glanville decided to tell Kyle Richards exactly what kind of "friend" Vanderpump had been to her.
"Lisa wants to take her down," Glanville said. "Kyle needs to know the truth."
And that's when Glanville, upset over her diminishing friendship with Vanderpump – who she now believes was "capitalizing on my heartbreak" – and Vanderpump's sudden friendship with Richards, dropped a bombshell.
Glanville told Richards that Vanderpump had told her to bring copies of the tabloids that had stories about her husband's cheating rumors to Palm Springs.
"I'm such an idiot," Richards, 45, said. "I really hope what Brandi's saying is not true … I think Lisa's not done punishing me."
Richards decided to go directly to the source, asking Vanderpump at dinner later that night if she had urged Glanville, 40, to bring the tabloids.
"This is a sabotage attack," Vanderpump's husband, Ken Todd, said. "You all are so stupid."
"I just want to know the truth," Richards replied, before her sister, Kim, interrupted and got into a shouting match with Todd, telling him, "I'm tired of your God---- mouth! You're a big, stubborn old man. Shut up!"
"You know the truth, you know the truth," Todd said, gesturing at Richards and her husband, while escorting his visibly shaken wife out of the restaurant. "We're out of here!"
"I've gone above and beyond to defend her," a teary-eyed Vanderpump, 53, said. "I have defended Brandi when sometimes her actions have been indefensible … then the underdog bites you."
The journey home to Puerto Rico was a difficult one for Joyce Giraud, whose father passed away just prior to the trip she had planned for the wives.
"I know my father would have wanted me to continue with my life," said the former Miss Puerto Rico 1998. "His last words to me were, 'Go, I'm happy.' I know he's watching from heaven and taking care of me."
Her emotional homecoming provided one of the season's most touching scenes when she shared a few quiet moments with her mother, Iris.
"We talk about three times a day," Giraud, 38, said about her mother, who she urged to move back to California with her. "She's my best friend."
"You can't leave me," Giraud said to her aging mother, tucking her windblown hair behind her ears, tears in her eyes.
"When I have to go, I'm going," her mom said, smiling, caressing her daughter.
"I love my mom so much. She's my hero and my inspiration," Giraud said. "I can't imagine what I'm going to do without her."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Monday (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
