Perks of being a supermodel include trips around the world, a killer body and the ability to make an LBD look like the finest piece of designer clothing in history. We’re assuming this is why Petra Nemcova came out on top in this week’s Most Loved Looks competition, earning one of the highest approval ratings we’ve seen in recent memory (96 percent!). We can’t argue with the results — after all, this isn’t just your basic black dress. The left beaded lace sleeve adds a unique touch, and the cap-toe pumps and side-swept hair (worn to a party in Cologne, Germany) are chic perfection.
Hot on Petra’s heels was one of the most head-turning dresses at the Grammys: Taylor Swift’s dazzling Gucci Première gown, which featured gold lamé and a crystal mesh overlay. (But that wasn’t her only style home run of the week! We were equally enamored with her pre-Grammy party look.)

And, although she didn’t crack the top 10, we have to give credit to Cate Blanchett. Her plunging metallic Givenchy gown, worn to the AACTA Awards in Sydney, Australia, had our jaws on the floor. Although the actress has been bringing it this entire awards season, we happen to think this is her best look yet.
