Country singer Chris Young had surgery on Friday to repair a deep cut to his hand.
The "Who I Am with You" crooner, who accidentally cut his left hand with a kitchen knife on Thursday, had surgery at a Nashville hospital to repair damaged tendons, according to a statement from his rep.
The 28-year-old injured himself while making a late-night snack at home after attending his 13th annual fan club party aboard the General Jackson showboat in Nashville.
Young was rushed to the hospital, and while he has been released and is expected to make a full recovery, he will be unable to perform at LP Field on Saturday night at the CMA Music Festival.
