The traditional 10th anniversary present is something made of tin — but don’t tell that to Alyson Hannigan’s husband Alexis Denisof.
He surprised Hannigan with something just a little sparklier: A brand-new diamond “engagement ring,” so he could propose to her all over again.
“My hubby @AlexisDenisof surprised me with the most romantic day of my life yesterday!” the How I Met Your Mother star Tweeted. “Which included another proposal & ring! I said YES!”

That excitement was reflected when she stepped out that day to show off her new bauble to photographers. Her wedding ring appeared to be a channel-set ring inset with diamonds, which is an elegant complement to the new giant solitaire she’s sporting these days.
But lest you think Hannigan is all about the bling this time around, you can rest easy knowing she has her priorities in order. “And now we get to have our kids at this ceremony :) It’ll be shorter. We’ll get to the cake sooner! YAY renewal!!!” she Tweeted.
