In a dying atmosphere
The work of madmen
Destroying our frontier
Our cancer so uncertain
Our end is always near
The hopes of humanity
Trapped by ignorance and fear
Where’s the end to it all?
Who’s to say that we’ll fall?
What life can still remain?
In this synthetic age
There is a place
I know all too well
It’s down in the valley
A man made hell
There is a system
I know shouldn’t be
Destroying a race
Too blind to see
Chemical Valley
So many lives have been taken
Some remain with disease
Voices of the valley still carry
Shouting for this to cease
Time losing time wasting time
There is nothing left to give
A blackened shadow casted
How do they expect them to live?
Where’s the end to it all?
Who’s to say that we’ll fall?
What life can still remain?
In this synthetic age
There is a place
I know all too well
It’s down in the valley
A man made hell
There is a system
I know shouldn’t be
Destroying a race
Too blind to see
Chemical Valley
Where can their lives begin?
When no one really hears
A government that denies society
Letting them drown in fear
Politicians sit in high places
While cancer strikes the dammed
Judges refuse to listen
And no one lends a hand
Where’s the end to it all?
Who’s to say that we’ll fall?
What life can still remain?
In this synthetic age
There is a place
I know all too well
It’s down in the valley
A man made hell
There is a system
I know shouldn’t be
Destroying a race
Too blind to see
Chemical Valley
