Katy Perry has always been on our fashion radar. The starlet is not only gorgeous but she has a great sense of style. From her Alice+Olivia, Clueless-inspired look in Berlin to her leopard frock at the 2013 MTV VMAs in NYC, the singer is a risk-taker. And that’s exactly what she did when she attended the Chanel Spring 2014 fashion show on Sept. 30. The 28-year-old songstress rocked a black-and-white ensemble. While she looked pretty and polished, it definitely wasn’t our favorite look on the star.
Katy Perry’s Chanel Show Outfit:
The Roar singer went for a classy look for the Chanel Spring 2014 show. We admire the fact that Katy loves to take chances with her looks. With this fresh-off-the-rack Chanel Resort 2014 ensemble, Katy lived up to our expectations. She rocked a black-and-white floral dress that featured a scoop neck and black waistband that showed off her curvy physique. Katy finished off her look with a black and silver Chanel Lego bag, diamond jewels, a sleek bun, and pink lips to seal the deal.
Katy seemed to enjoy the show as she tweeted “I wish there was a Chanel emoji.” The starlet sat in the front row in great company with Vanessa Paradis and Zoe Kravitz.
While we adore Katy and her style, personally this look is not one of my favorites. I love the fact that she wore head-to-toe Chanel to the fashion show, but this dress just doesn’t have that wow factor on Katy.
