Christina Ricci tied the knot with actor James Heerdegen in NYC on Oct. 26, where the 33-year-old star donned an intricate Givenchy Haute Couture gown that was custom-made, just for her, by the brand’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci!
Christina Ricci’s Wedding Dress:
Christina looked lovely in the gown, which featured sheer, lace sleeves. She showed a hint of skin thanks to cutout detailing at the shoulders which only added to the ethereal look of the gorgeous creation. In fact, it almost made it look like she was wearing gloves! Made up of white silk tulle, Chantilly lace, embroidered pearls, and satin, the frock fit the star like a glove. She was so impressed by her wedding day look she tweeted her thanks to the creative director.
A sheer, lace veil added to the beautiful bridal look while Christina wore her hair pulled back into a side bun, keeping the focus on the gorgeous gown.
Christina has always been known for her interesting sense of style, and her wedding dress certainly lived up to our expectations. While it was a traditional gown the detailing made it unique and modern — and we would expect nothing less from the star!
The couple met on the set of Pan Am in 2011 and wed in NYC in an intimate ceremony, held at the Harold Pratt House on the Upper East Side. Photographer Anthony Vazquez was on hand to capture the stunning bride — and her gorgeous gown!
