Young Hernan has Down syndrome, and as a result, tends to shy away from physical contact. But Himalaya, a playful dog with determination, was not letting that stop her from snuggling up to the adorable boy.
In the 4-minute video posted to YouTube by Hernan's mother, Ana Marta Vegas, Himalaya is seen repeatedly trying to engage the toddler – until he finally gives in and wraps his little arms around the loving pooch. Cue the heartwarming tears!
