Did Johnny Depp just get back from a month-long surf holiday in Costa Rica, where he used Sun-In extensively? Not to our knowledge, but his bleached-out, long hair at the Golden Globes looks like it would be more fitting with a puka shell necklace and board shorts than the outfit he wore Sunday night.
The actor has been busy filming his new film Mortdecai in L.A., which explains his blonde-ish hair hue. As for that messy surfer-esque center-parted style, it’s a bit informal for the black textured suit he wore on stage to present the award for Best Drama to 12 Years a Slave.

Depp has sported a series of unique hairstyles over the year, but this might be his most out-there look yet. And if you thought Jared Leto’s manbun was the most exciting dude do of the evening, Depp’s might have eclipsed him with whatever this look is.
