During Milan men’s fashion week, one can expect to see all sorts of interesting and unusual fashion that might not really translate into real life. But normally, you expect to see it on the runway. Steven Tyler, however, isn’t content to let the models have all the fun, choosing a variety of noteworthy ensembles for his appearances at the Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney and Giorgio Armani shows and events — which he squeezed in while in Milan for a stop on his Aerosmith world tour.

If we told you that a star was spotted wearing colorful streaks, lots of necklaces and a leather jacket, who would you guess it was? Demi Lovato? Tyler gives the “Really Don’t Care” singer a run for her money in the style department with his outfit at the Emporio Armani show, where he posed with the designer and posed for some street style pics outside the venue.

Next up, he got extra-funky for the Stella McCartney garden party — his daughter Liv is good friends with the designer — in a floor-length cowl-neck tunic topped with a linen hooded vest, those same beaded necklaces and cap-toe boots. And finally, he attended the Roberto Cavalli show in a snakeskin-print outfit paired with a metallic leather jacket (all by the designer, of course) and pink shades. “I love Cavalli, especially all his animal prints,” Tyler told WSJ . “It’s very much the soul of the rock and roll I play on stage.”
Tyler also praised Cavalli for his designs’ androgyny, something which the rocker clearly embraces (he also shares that he likes to buy women’s extra-large shirts for his tour). And recently, Liv told Glamour that everything she knows about skincare, she learned from her dad. “When I go and stay with him, I always have to raid his cupboards because he’s got all the best creams,” she said. “He’ll cover his whole body in oil and moisturizer and walk around the house in a pair of shorts … It has always been fun to watch him get dressed. But I definitely don’t think of him when I’m getting dressed.”
Which of his outfits is your favorite? Any other thoughts to share? Tell us in the comments!
