The entirety of the cast, however, may be another story.
"Not everybody would want to do it. Maybe two-thirds of the cast would want to," Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the 1987-1995 series, told PEOPLE in April while promoting his memoir, Dirty Daddy.
"John [Stamos] is such a good guy, and I think he would want it to happen in some way if it could. There's some stuff going on, I don't get involved in it, where people were trying to put some energy into it … [But] I don't think it will happen in a way that it would be everybody. "
It's pretty easy to guess which cast members are likely to participate.
When it comes to Full House reunions of any kind – the cast's 25th anniversary get-together, Candace Cameron Bure's successful run on Dancing with the Stars , the Jimmy Fallon spoof and recent photo ops – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are noticeably absent, so it's safe to assume they'd be out.

Additionally, Lori Loughlin (who played Stamos's wife, Rebecca) has her own series on Hallmark channel, When Calls the Heart, and has not yet been mentioned in the redux buzz. (Stamos, Saget, Dave Coulier, Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are all said to be involved in some way.)
As might be expected, some cast members have eagerly championed the cause. On Watch What Happens Live in January, Stamos said, "We're sort of working on a twist on a sequel, but we don't know if it's going to happen yet or not."
And Cameron Bure also said in January that a TV reunion would be "really fun."
So which camp does Saget fall into?
For starters, the revival would have to be done right. "It's such a sweet thing, nobody should mess it up. I wouldn't want to see it Brady-ed, where they make fun of it," he said in April, adding that a reunion show was "the farthest thing from my mind that exists."
Though that wasn't always the case.
"Five years ago, I said, 'Hey, everybody looks pretty good. I kinda still look okay. We should hurry.' "
