Jon Voight 'Very Happy' That Brad Pitt Is Officially His Son-in-Law

Jon Voight wasn't at his daughter Angelina Jolie's secret wedding last weekend in France. But he's thrilled to finally be able to call Brad Pitt his son-in-law.

And on Friday he joined other well-wishers in expressing his happiness about the marriage.

"I'm very happy that I can now legitimately call him my son-in-law, this wonderful fellow who I love, and that they're very happy," Voight, 75, told ITV's Good Morning Britain . "The kids must have had a wonderful time at the wedding because they all had their things to do."

Of the wedding, he adds: "It must have been very beautiful. I'm very happy for them."

The couple are already moving on with the next step, mixing honeymoon with work as they prep for a movie on Malta in the coming weeks.

"She's working now with Brad, and I've got a couple of things to do, too," Voight said. "But as soon as we can, we'll get together – it's going to be exciting."
