The boys are going blond! Less than a week after James Franco lightened up, another dark-haired star has followed suit. Rocker Pete Wentz has switched up his signature dark brown shade for something way brighter.

Wentz’s new look might have been inspired by some new music he’s working on. “Prepared for new art on the horizon,” he captioned his hair change reveal photo on Instagram. It also appears that the star went for a super-short, almost shaved look while he was at the salon. We’re curious to see how long his platinum hue will stick around.

Another hair change we weren’t expecting to wake up to this morning? Melissa Joan Hart changed things up in the color department going from bright blonde to a fiery red shade.

This isn’t the first time Hart has experimented as a redhead. Back during her Sabrina days, she went auburn. And last summer she revealed that she missed her bright color.
