If one of the main reasons you watch Scandal is to take notes on Olivia Pope’s flawless style (and, fine, for those steamy makeout scenes with Fitz), then you’re going to be really excited about this news. The Limited is launching a fall collection inspired by the ABC drama. (Fitz not included.) And Kerry Washington had a hand in the designs herself!

The actress and Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo partnered with the design team at The Limited to create a 42-piece collection which channels the style the of super-chic Washington, D.C. “fixer” played by Washington. Hitting stores in late September, the new line will include a range of tops, pants, jackets and — of course — some outerwear (no one on TV has better coats!), with prices starting at $49. Check out some sketches below.

The most exciting part? Washington will be wearing some of the looks from the collection on the show, so you will actually be able to own a piece straight out of Olivia Pope’s closet.

“It’s been really fun to have a voice at every stage of the production from picking buttons, choosing fabrics and weighing in on hair and makeup people,” she told WWD of her involvement with the designs. “People who love the look of the show can now step into this world in a way that is affordable and accessible because not everybody can afford to have the clothes they see on the show.”

During Scandal‘s first season, Paolo told PEOPLE she loves working with Washington, because she really understands fashion.

“We spend a lot of time together in our costume room, talking about the tones of a scene, and try to tailor each individual costume to what’s happening in her head, in her world, the palette of the set,” she said. “I think sometimes the rest of the crew wonders what the heck we’re doing in there!”

Since the duo is already a style dream team, we have a good feeling about this collection. And since it’s not super-pricey, we’ll still be putting change in our jars for a white Burberry coat to wear with it all. Are you excited about this collaboration? Sound off below.
