That's a cheer that Madonna's daughter Lourdes Ciccone Leon may be unleashing this fall as she joins the student body at the University of Michigan, the Detroit Free Press reports.
As an incoming freshman, Lourdes, 17, now has a profile in the campus directory that says she is studying in U-M's School of Music, Theatre & Dance. (Freshman orientation was held on campus Monday and Tuesday.)
Her famous mom, a Bay City, Michigan, native who attended U-M briefly in the '70s before heading off to New York to begin her music career, posted an Instagram photo of an Ann Arbor school spirit store, the M Den, with the caption, "I think I'll stop in here!"
No word on whether she and Lourdes picked up any Wolverine gear there, but their trip their marks mother and daughter's second after touring the campus in November.
Madonna said in 2012 that she hoped her teen daughter would follow her path to U-M. "I keep telling her Ann Arbor is an awesome place," Madonna told the NFL Network before her Super Bowl XLVI halftime show.
The Ann Arbor visit also marks Madonna's second to her home state in recent weeks. The pop icon was in Detroit in early June to tour community agencies, the Free Press reported, noting her interest in joining the beleaguered Motor City's growing urban renewal efforts.
