Actress Aubrey Plaza has signed on to voice the Internet's favorite pouter, Grumpy Cat, in Lifetime's upcoming TV movie, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
Best known for playing sullen and sarcastic intern April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation, Plaza should make an ideal fit for Grumpy. The 30-year-old received the part after Glee star Jane Lynch turned down the chance to voice the frowning feline.
The live-action Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever will tell the story of a pet store kitty that is consistently passed over by shoppers, until a girl who can communicate with the cat comes along.
Fans can watch Plaza's best Grumpy Cat impersonation when Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever airs Saturday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.
