Katie Leclerc married Brian Stuart Habecost on Saturday in Palm Springs, the Switched at Birth star confirms to PEOPLE.
Held at Colony 29, the nuptials paired pink and yellow colors with themes that represented the area as well as the couple's interests.
"We embraced the cactus theme being that we were in Palm Springs," Leclerc, 27, tells PEOPLE exclusively. "And Brian and I are very outdoorsy so it was also bike-themed."
One thing the 165 wedding guests were not expecting?
"We had a surprise first dance choreographed and the wedding party danced down the aisle," says Leclerc, who accepted 29-year-old Habecost's proposal last fall. "It was amazingly awesome!"
The bride wore a custom criss-cross silk tulle fitted gown with petal skirt by Gustavo Cadile and the couple's rings, which Leclerc calls "super cool," are matching yellow gold on the inside and meteorite on the outside.
As far as honeymoon plans go, the newlyweds are keeping it super low-key.
"We don't have any yet!" admits Leclerc. "We might sneak away to Catalina for a few nights."
