On last season's Scandal finale, the conflicted fixer ditched President Fitz for a quick getaway with Jake, fleeing what had become a very dangerous D.C. on a jet chartered by her murderous dad.
Now, in a teaser for season 4, Kerry Washington's character is doing something truly unthinkable: relaxing.
She traded her white hat for a white lawn chair, but the clip still leaves many questions unanswered. Is Jake chilling on the sand by her side? Will she ever answer the grieving Fitz's phone calls? Has she really forsaken her Gladiators? And, most importantly, where on earth is Olivia Pope?
