Whitney Port, Conrad's former costar and co-intern on the show, was unable to attend her pal's nuptials this past weekend. "I wasn't able to make it, I was here," Port, 29, told PEOPLE Wednesday at the LinkedIn Build Your Professional Brand event in New York City, where the Whitney Eve designer sat down with young entrepreneurs.
Though she wasn't sure what her friend wore and hadn't seen wedding pictures, she was sure her fellow designer looked "beautiful."
"She's very confident in her own style, as she should be," Port said.
Port has her own wedding to plan, but she's not putting any pressure on herself. "I'm taking my time for sure, but I have begun planning," she says of her upcoming nuptials with Tim Rosenman. "I thought I had some stuff figured out, but some things have gotten switched up as of late. I don't really want to get into it, but it's definitely at the forefront of my mind, and I'm working on it."
"There are obviously so many different decisions to make, but I'm the kind of person that gives myself time and doesn't really put pressure on myself, which can be nice, but sometimes when you do that you become this indecisive ball of mess," she continued.
The soon-to-be bride will be designing her own wedding dress with another designer and describes her bridal style as "eclectic. Colorful and textural."
While Port's giddy to be marrying the love of her life, she doesn't really care about the "married" label.
"I already know that I'm going to be with him forever, and I feel completely confident in that. I don't need that label. But I just think it's exciting to be in this next chapter of our lives, as cheesy as it sounds," she said.
"I think the most exciting thing is, obviously, just to be able to start a family and to call him my husband," Port said.
We can just see it now: mini LC and mini Whitney running around playing dress up together.
