You may have made it through Monday in one piece, but Demi Lovato and Chrissy Teigen’s hair didn’t. The singer and the supermodel each posted a shot on Instagram Monday night depicting their newly-shortened locks, and because there’s nothing we love more than a new do, we’re here to discuss.

Lovato proved that she hates to keep the same hairstyle for too long, updating her most recent hair change (a silver-and-purple ombré situation) by losing about six inches of length and adding layers. Her new cut actually has a ’90s mullet-y vibe that few but Lovato could ever pull off — between the closely-shaved patch on the left side of her head, the volume at the crowd and the curly purple tendrils at the bottom, it’s definitely a Look. Are you loving it?

Teigen also had fun with extensions last night, removing nearly half her hair (and perhaps freshening up her remaining locks with a little trim). Her long bob really highlighted her newly blonder hue, with the much-lighter platinum sections framing her face nicely. Much like Lovato, Teigen loves to play with her hair, so we may see it twice as long (or twice as short, or three times as blonde) tomorrow.
