Farrah Franklin, a former member of Beyoncé's early group Destiny's Child, was arrested Sunday morning for disorderly conduct in Conway, South Carolina, police reports say.

Franklin, 33, was with the group for five months in 2000 before exiting.

The group claimed Franklin missed several events and that they were forced to ask her to leave. MTV confirmed that Franklin had missed at least one recent performance around that time. Franklin later told E! that "I felt like I was losing my identity … I just couldn't handle the situation … I had to leave."

Franklin was booked around 5 a.m. EST Sunday and released shortly after noon the same day, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Office.

Hours before the arrest, she posted a picture of herself on the beach to Instagram.

Franklin later posted the image below, adding, "I'm good just hate the dumb media sometimes, but hey this is the job I signed up for. So I respect it."

TMZ, which first reported the story, notes that Franklin was also arrested in L.A. in 2011 for disorderly conduct and later claimed she was the victim of racial profiling.
