The Twitterverse Reacts to the 50 Shades of Grey Trailer

Well, it happened. The moment you all – or at least a significant number of you – have been waiting for. The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer dropped today, and it swiftly took over the Internet, eventually trending on Facebook, Twitter and Google.

People from every walk of life were not shy about sharing their thoughts on the clip. Here are some of our favorite reactions.

Some were commenting on the film's release date.

Others on the fact that there are a whole lot of blockbuster releases coming out between now and Valentine's Day.

The slowed-down version of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" from the clip was a big favorite.

Maggie Gyllenhaal's film Secretary was brought up as a stylistic touchstone for the clip's look.

And of course, the Twittersphere didn't hold back about the leads' appearances.
