She does work in fashion after all!

For arguably the biggest style moment of her life — her wedding to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine — model Behati Prinsloo clearly couldn’t go with something off the rack.

Instead, the Victoria’s Secret model went for a custom-made Marchesa gown.

After narrowing it down to a few designers, Prinsloo decided to put her bride-to-be trust in Georgina Chapman, who established the brand alongside Keren Craig.

“She had final fittings a few weeks ago when she was in New York with Adam, while he was doing press for his film Begin Again,” a source tells PEOPLE.

With Levine preoccupied, Prinsloo “and Georgina were finishing the alterations,” the source added.

The model — who said her closet is filled with jeans, sundresses, vintage rock and roll t-shirts and bikinis — has described her personal style as “more like hippie-bohemian.”
