One of the problems of working with Susan Sarandon that doesn't come up that much: She's too perfect. At least, too perfect for some roles.
Melissa McCarthy was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday, and she talked about some of the snags that the crew encountered working on her new film opening July 2, Tammy, in which Sarandon plays a grandmother.
"Susan looks too good" was apparently a repeated problem McCarthy heard from the film's director of photography. "Susan seems to be glowing from within," was commonly cited as well, McCarthy added.
True story: Part of production was making prosthetic ankles to suitably age up Sarandon's beautiful stems, which apparently haven't aged a day since they were getting touch-a touch-a touched in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
