Shia LaBeouf

"Contrary to previous erroneous reports, Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction," his rep says in a statement.
"He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery."
The news comes after a string of bizarre behavior from the former Transformers star, 28, who gained fame on Disney Channel's Even Stevens.
In February, the actor walked out of a press conference and wore a paper bag over his head at the premiere of Nymphomanic in Berlin, just a month after he said he was leaving public life.
LaBeouf told Parade magazine in 2009 that he was "working … to be a better person."
"I have no answers to anything. None. Why am I an alcoholic? I haven't a damn clue! What is life about? I don't know," he said about injuring his hand in a 2008 car crash that left his driver's license suspended. (He refused a chemical test at the time.) "What I do know is, I screw up."
LaBeouf was charged June 27 with one count of criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct. He will reappear in court later in July.
