Pixel measures just 5-inches tall from paw to shoulder

Meet Pixel, a Munchkin cat (yes, that's a thing!) who could be the world's smallest cat – and her owners are hoping Guinness World Records will soon declare it so.
Measuring just 5 inches tall from paw to shoulder, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail , the Potrero, California, kitty would beat the current title holder, Cye, a Munchkin cat from Canada who measured in at 5.35 inches tall. (The average house cat is 9 or 10 inches tall).
And this cuteness runs in the family: Pixel's mother, Fizz Girl, is a former record holder.
"Even people that aren't cat people go crazy for them," said the cats's owner, Tiffani Kjeldergaard. "They say about how cute they are and how they want to take them straight home with them."
The life of a Munchkin cat, a breed that was recognized in 1995 by the International Cat Association, is nothing short of miraculous.
"We have to move very slowly when we walk, so we don't step on anybody," Kjeldergaard told the Daily Mail. "You can't leave doors open. You can't close refrigerator doors too quickly because one of them may have snuck up at the bottom of the door and stuck their head in."
