Waffle House's campaign against Belgian waffles

World Cup fever has gripped the U.S., reaching into even the isolated heart of regional waffle chain Waffle House: The primarily Southern restaurant group has launched a campaign to boycott Belgian waffles as the U.S. prepares to play Belgium Tuesday at 4 p.m.
We urge that you join Waffle House's good-natured jingoism, lest you make them angry. You wouldn't like Waffle House when they're angry.
"We support a boycott on Belgian waffles," a rep for Waffle House told TMZ. "We support America," they added, to clear up any lingering doubts. "We don't support Belgian waffles."
The campaign has spilled to Twitter, where the restaurant has been Tweeting all manner of patriotic materials, including the above image, and the simple mantra shown below.
We urge that you join Waffle House's good-natured jingoism, lest you make them angry. You wouldn't like Waffle House when they're angry.
