We love to see sisterly love! Jess has tapped her little sis as the face of her clothing line — what a great choice! The girls dished on Ashlee’s new gig and how they collaborated. Get your first look here!
Ashlee Simpson , 28, revealed that she will be modeling the Jessica Simpson Fall 2013 collection! Her 33-year-old sister, Jessica Simpson , is the designer and creator of the line.
Ashlee Simpson Models Jessica Simpson Fall 2013 Collection:
The two sisters claim that their styles are different, but the collaboration of the two on this line might prove differently. It’s clear that there is some chemistry between these two singing sisters. Ashlee looks better than ever in the pics of the line, bringing an edgier and trendier side to the collection and offering a cool balance in the photos. From boots to floral dresses, to long maxis and sunglasses, the collection looks like it has it all!
The sisters dished about the line to People Stylewatch, Ashlee saying she still loves “dresses but [she] likes to toughen them up.” Jessica’s “girlier” side can still be seen through the design of the feminine clothes, but Ashlee still offers the true punk-rock side to the line, creating a mix of a boho chic look and a pretty style. The 28-year-old was thrilled to do the shoot, saying: “I have a pretty cool sister with an amazing sense of style, and I was honored to get to do the shoot.”
We’re so excited to see that Ashlee embrace the spotlight while modeling her sister’s clothes. The line will be in all major department stores this fall!
