Audiobooks are more popular than ever, and when they're read by actors as talented as these it's easy to see why.

Let us know what you think about our staffers' selections – and tell us what you're reading.

Her Pick: Bossypants by Tina Fey

Listening to Tina Fey narrate her life – her teenage escapades at drama camp, her dating disasters, her SNL years and adventures on 30 Rock – is endlessly entertaining. This is one book that is probably funnier to listen to than to read.

His Pick: The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne

The two very best audio books in the world are Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner. This is because they are read by the100 percent authentic Edward Bear himself, English actor Jim Broadbent (so say the small persons in my house, and they are never wrong). Whether you are a clever-as-clever 6 or 60, these faithful recordings of A.A. Milne's stories leave you feeling as wonderful as Pooh bear himself – braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Everyone's been raving to me about this novel, so I started listening to the audiobook on a recent road trip. It's a big, involving story that skips back and forth in time, moving from an Italian seaside village in the early sixties to modern-day Hollywood. Actor Edoardo Ballerini reads it brilliantly, nailing all the regional accents and sounding so much like Richard Burton (who makes an extended cameo) that you can almost smell the liquor on his breath. Guaranteed to keep you awake behind the wheel.
