There are two sides to every story.

And in the wake of Shia LaBeouf's apology tour following his very public meltdown, one person involved in the incident hasn't been as vocal: Alan Cumming, the star of the live Broadway show LaBeouf interrupted.

But now comes Cumming's version of events, which ... actually isn't too different from LaBeouf's.

A guest on Conan Monday, Cumming told O'Brien that LaBeouf was "just wasted" in the theater that night.

"There was an atmosphere – when I went down to go onstage and start the show, everyone was freaking out, because there was, you know, someone who seemed to be a crazy person," he said.

Cumming hasn't been dwelling on the incident, though: He's busy playing Eli Gold on the CBS Sunday night hit The Good Wife .

LaBeouf, meanwhile, has been addressing the incident during his press tour for the World War II epic Fury, starring Brad Pitt.
