Moms out there are sure to have an opinion about this – was Robbie Williams helping his wife while she was in labor or just making things worse?

The British singer, 40 Tweeted the arrival of his son Monday, after extensively documenting his wife Ayda Field's labor (and his silly antics) on his YouTube Channel.

Below are highlights of the video series:

The couple turned the birthing room into their own private disco, first with Field giving her husband a lap dance to "Fancy."

Then Williams got down to his song "Candy." But it's hard to tell if his wife is amused or annoyed.

The father-to-be pretends to be the one in pain, hobbling down the hospital corridor and getting reassurance from Field (she's a trooper).

Entering the realm of TMI, Williams even documents the doctor breaking his wife's water, labeling the video, "A River Runs Through It."

For the grand finale, Williams serenades Field with a rendition of Frozen's hit track "Let it Go" – and she makes it clear she definitely would have preferred another song.

At long last, after more than 24 hours of labor, their son, weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz., arrived.

"I've never been more in love and never been more proud of my wife," Williams said in a final video posted on Twitter.

Holding his smiling wife's hand, he explained that the idea had started with Field wearing sparkly Louboutin heels as she went into labor, and that he'd wanted to take her mind off the pain. In the end he said that the whole experience had been "magical and whimsical and lovely," adding that "no moms were harmed in the making of these videos."
