Elizabeth Hurley Has Worn Hundreds of Pink Dresses for BCA - Which Are Her Faves?

Next year will mark Elizabeth Hurley‘s 20th serving as the face of Estée Lauder Companies’ breast cancer awareness campaign — and in that time, she’s racked up an incredible number of pink dresses. She’s worn a department store’s worth of sheaths, gowns, shifts, minis and even saris in various shades of the signature hue of BCA month, and now she’s undertaken the near-impossible job of choosing her favorites for the Estée Lauder blog, The Estée Edit. We got the exclusive first look at a few of the top contenders.

Some pink dresses that were particularly memorable: The ones she’s worn to light up the Empire State Building in pink over the past years, which include what may be her all-time favorite, “a one shoulder, soft leather, fuchsia dress by Diane Von Furstenberg” (left), worn to illuminate the N.Y.C. landmark in pink in 2010. In 2012 she wore a bubblegum-pink Issa number, and in 2000 she pulled the switch in a boldly-printed mini.

One thing that Last Night’s Look watchers will notice is that there’s almost no shade of pink Hurley hasn’t tried, though she does admit “I’m not too keen on what I call ‘Band-Aid pink.'” When picking a perfect dress, she says, “I like them to be sleek in shape and vibrant in hue.

And you may have wondered, as we have, how she possibly manages to find such a huge array of beautiful, sexy and memorable pink dresses, year after year. The secret? A little help from a friend. “New York stylist Ann Caruso has been helping me find pink dresses for many years,” Hurley tells PEOPLE. “This year we needed 19!”

Other dresses Hurley singled out as memorable include the Roberto Cavalli she wore to open the New York Stock Exchange in 2010 (“It’s a very male environment, but also a formal one, so we tried to find a dress that would appeal to all. This one went over pretty well!”), a sari she wore in Mumbai in 2008 (“I love wearing saris as they’re so comfortable — as long as you’re in them correctly!”) and a blush Elie Saab she wore to a Breast Cancer Research Foundation gala in 2006 (“Sometimes you try on a dress, and you know it’s a winner. I loved this dress the moment I saw it”).
