See Zac Efron's 'Wheely' Cool Birthday Celebration (PHOTO)

It's purely for selfish reasons that we would have liked to see Zac Efron celebrating his 27th birthday on Saturday on a tropical beach somewhere (two words: those abs).

But while we didn't get our birthday wish for Efron, it appears the Neighbors star had a good time, anyway – he spent the day in Amsterdam with DJ friends Dillon Francis and Martin Garrix.

A fully clothed Efron posted a picture on Instagram showing the trio riding bicycles in the Dutch capital.

"Rollin with the homies!!" he wrote. "Thanks to @DillonFrancis and @martingarrix for the coolest birthday ever."

Efron's clearly having a good time in Europe. Earlier this week, he shared a pic of himself and rumored girlfriend Sami Miró outside Noma, a two-star Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, that has been ranked as the best restaurant in the world.
