We knew Idris Elba was buff, but it’s nice to have a little reminder once in a while. The actor, 42, gave fans a glimpse at his intense workout routine on Instagram, and he showed just how fit he is in the shirtless video. Like … really fit.

Elba gets tips from his trainers in the clip posted on Instagram, working up a sweat as he does a challenging-looking arm and ab workout that involves pushups and a barbell to get in shape for his new film. “Training for my next Film. Bastille Day. Grinding,” the British star captioned the below video. (Warning: You might have to splash some cold water on your face after watching the clip.)
And with a bod like that, Elba is also in great “Bond … James Bond” shape if he were tapped to play the iconic role. Back in September, the actor revealed he was interested in taking on the part of the iconic spy after being asked about the casting rumor during a Reddit Q&A.
“If it was offered to me, absolutely,” he shared.
