Video of little Lorenzo, posted by Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's fiancé, Jionni LaValle on his Instagram account, show the Jersey joy's first steps, which, happily, took place at home and not on a boardwalk.
In the video, the newly minted 1-year-old takes a few bold steps before taking a tumble onto a cushy rug.
"Today was the best day ever!" the former Jersey Shore star, 25, wrote on her blog alongside a photo of the happy family. "My baby boy turned one and it was very special. I'm a very emotional mother to begin with so dealing with my baby turning one is freaking me out!!"
Then again, she concedes, "Ever since becoming a mother my life has completely changed for the better. Lorenzo was the best thing that has ever happened to me. He's made me realize the important things in life and what really matters, and that's family. Now everything that I do is for my son, and I could not be a more prouder and happier mom."
She adds: "I love you Lorenzo, you are my world and I'm so proud of you! Love you to the stars and beyond."
Motherhood may have changed the reality star, but it hasn't entirely tempered her emotions: Earlier this summer, Snooki ripped into residents of Pelican Island, a community within the beach region that put her on the map, after they took action to try and stop her from filming part of the new season of Snooki & JWoww.
