It just might be the best week ever for the boy band! A new report claims that the One Direction dudes will share the runway with the Victoria’s Secret Angels, and we couldn’t be more excited — but what does Victoria’s Secret have to say about the news?

What do you get when you combine a slew of lingerie, sexy models, and one of the hottest boy bands around? A seriously epic show! The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show just might get even hotter — and we couldn’t be more excited. A new report in the Sun claims that One Direction is slated to perform during the annual, star-studded runway show. While we have yet to receive official confirmation from the boys, we do hope we get to see Niall Horan , Harry Styles , Louis Tomlinson , Zayn Malik and Liam Payne strut their stuff on the catwalk alongside the Angels.

One Direction Performing At Victoria’s Secret Show?

“Their global superstar status will be solidified with this booking,” a source told the Sun. “Bigwigs at the Victoria’s Secret and the television network CBS, which broadcasts the show, have been having meetings with the band and management. It’s being said they pretty much have it in the bag as they were sold on their personalities.”

However, Victoria’s Secret set the record straight in their official statement. “The recent reports regarding One Direction appearing in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show are untrue. The band is not performing in this year’s show. We will announce our artists in early October.”

The annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show takes place in NYC in November and always seems to be bigger and better than ever. This year’s artists will be following in the footsteps of performers like Rihanna , Justin Bieber , Bruno Mars , Jay-Z and Kanye West, (to name a few) — clearly whoever takes the stage will be in good company!

While everyone can’t wait to see who will perform during the show, I’m even more excited to see the stunning models storm the runway. From Brit it-girl Cara Delevingne to Karlie Kloss, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio, the show will be sexier than ever — and that’s not all! Although Miranda Kerr has hung up her Angel wings she’s also scheduled to take a turn on the runway.

They might not be taking a trip down the catwalk anytime soon, One Direction is really on top — and it’s clear the “Best Song Ever” singers just might be having the best week ever. Not only did they take home an award at the VMAs, but they’re also gearing up for the release of their movie, This Is Us, and their debut fragrance, Our Moment.

Although my fan girl dreams of seeing them take the runway might have been crushed there’s no denying the fact that the upcoming show will be seriously amazing.
