Lauren Hill stunned on the court Nov. 2, easily sinking a layup just seconds into Mount St. Joseph University's basketball game against Hiram College.

The 19-year-old athlete, who suffers from an inoperable brain tumor, is not expected to live past December.

She had one wish: to play in a basketball game for her school. The NCAA granted that wish, moving up the game by two weeks so that Hill could participate.

Seventeen seconds into Sunday's game, Hill proved she's still got it by making a left-handed layup in front of the sold-out crowd at Xavier University's Cintas Center.

"This feels like – I’ve never felt so good in my entire life," she said in a sideline interview following the layup.

After the game, Hill told Fox Sports Ohio she couldn't believe the attention her story has received.

"I expected it to stay small, like a community kind of thing," she said. "This is the biggest community. We're all together. The world’s a big community. Everybody's come together and it's been so amazing."

She added that she hopes Sunday's game is not her last.

“Even though I might not be here – I might not be around when it comes – I think the cure for cancer is coming," she said.
