Solange Knowles's Wedding Gown Cannot be Missed (Plus: See Beyoncé's Look!)

For Solange Knowles’s New Orleans nuptials to video director Alan Ferguson, she wasn’t going to wear just any basic wedding dress. After all, she’s the super-cool indie star who’s worn this, this and this — so her wedding style would have to be the epitome of glam-hipster chic. And she delivered in a major way.

After arriving to the Marigny Opera House ceremony on a vintage white bicycle, clad in a Stéphane Rolland jumpsuit with plunging neckline and attached cape, the singer, 28, changed into a gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo with an even more dramatic cape (this one with a floor-sweeping train), plus gold cuffs at her wrists and a bright red lip.

Leon is a good friend of Knowles’s, which was a recurring theme of the wedding: “Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love,” Knowles wrote to Vogue (which released her official wedding portraits, by photographer Rog Walker). “Everything was a labor of love.”

Also showing the love? The all-female portrait (a nod to the work of artist Vanessa Beecroft, according to Vogue) which showed the bride flanked by sister Beyoncé (wearing a curve-hugging white Torn by Ronny Kobo tank dress and stacked white platform heels) and mom Tina (wearing a draped white column and gold jewelry.

Bey seemed to have had a great time at the wedding: she was active on Instagram the next morning, posting some of her favorite photos from the day. Our fave? The one of Ferguson, 51, plus Solange’s son Julez, 10, and Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z, all wearing their sharp white suits.
